Things other than Nehellenium?

Postby Ilovepetcuzheisacrab » Sun Oct 09, 2016 11:34 pm

So, I've been wondering about galaxies, planets, whatever besides the Nehellenium Galaxy. I havent been on Brikwars at all for a long time so this may be a major facepalm.... But whatever, I have seen some people say Nehellenium has been very boring lately so im just curious. Also is Medivo in Nehellenium?  Anyways, sorry again if this is stupid based on events since I last looked at Brikwars. Thanks if you spend any time replying, or reading this anyway.

The Nehellenium is just a small part of the brikverse. There are infinite galaxies, but the reason people use the Nehellenium is that so many of the factions are already there. You can create your own galaxies etc. if the Nehellenium is not where you want your own factions.

Yeah, I thought so. Are their any other galaxies that are actually in use or relevant?
Thx for replying.

The Immortal Empire hails from another universe/galaxy and is busy not invading the Galaxia Nehellenium.
The Galaxia Nehellenium has 3 Dwarf Galaxies. They are:
6. Vipiriath Spiral, home of the Emerian Empire (page not complete and may never be) and several thousands smaller factions. Slowly being consumed by the Emerian Empire as time wears on. Also in the process of not existing in-universe, waiting for its master to return.
7. Omegalon Dwarf Galaxy, home to the RARcom and, more importantly, the Praetorian Empire.
8. Large Magikallenic Cloud, home solely to the Space Nazis, who have been largely forced out of the Galaxia Nehellenium.

Other factions have hailed from other galaxies that remain yet unnamed. Such examples are the T.L.A. and Nyphillis (Colette's old faction).

Here is a 2014 map of the Galaxia Nehellenium

If we talk about galaxies as independent realms of game, there are none that I can think of.
Btw if you are into dieselpunk, this might be of interest for you.

I like to think of Brikwars having a D&D like multiverse. Everytime you create any content, whether a battle, short, or armoury post, it exists within its own little bubble. Now bubbles can overlap, likely all the bubbles created by a single person overlap. But bubbles from other people can overlap with your bubbles. This is done by usually referencing something from another player and staying consistent with their content. When enough bubbles overlap, you start to get plots, saga's, war's and the universes forming.

Image

Now the kanon dichotomy shapes how these bubbles interact. People who want some serious content and roleplay tend to want to clump their bubbles together with as many people as possible, so naturally everyone congregates around Nehellenium, which consists of most headline brikwars battles and factions. On the other hand, if you want something one off and off the wall, your bubbles will be separate from everyone else's.

Now obviously this makes some things really fragmentry, as nothing exists truly in a vacuum. We need some bullshit glue to hold this all together. And that bullshit is Kuantum-Feary. We say that for the sake of our own sanity that everything exists in the same brikverse, but may or may not be connected depending on who's looking and when. Et Voila! One Brikverse of infinite possibilities with zero consistency, and maximum fun for everyone.

So we should have t-shirts made that read:

"The Universe
doesn't exist in a
vacuum!"

Works for me.  Looking at the multiverse layout now, though, I kinda wish I'd taken the time to clean off my Lego first.

We all know that the brikverse is a bit dirty due to existing in a loft/garage/shed substrate.

A galaxy would be between Brikverse and sector. wouldn't it?

A star or system, would be between worlds.

World>System>Sector/Region/Galaxy/Brikverse

also the picture Vami made is hella out of date,  there's probably been 30 new factions that have sprouted since that image

Excuse me Kastrenzo? I made that map of the galaxy, and it really is outdated (I'm really sad Polonia came in after I made it).

Also yes sector is smaller than galaxy.

Spose it could be.  Sector and Region are distinctly vague terms, though.  So it's fine either way.  Devoid Sector, for example, is comprised of multiple star systems.

Whichever works best for your narrative.  The graphic is only meant to give a broad framework for understanding general scale.
