I like to think of Brikwars having a D&D like multiverse. Everytime you create any content, whether a battle, short, or armoury post, it exists within its own little bubble. Now bubbles can overlap, likely all the bubbles created by a single person overlap. But bubbles from other people can overlap with your bubbles. This is done by usually referencing something from another player and staying consistent with their content. When enough bubbles overlap, you start to get plots, saga's, war's and the universes forming.
Now the kanon dichotomy shapes how these bubbles interact. People who want some serious
content and roleplay tend to want to clump their bubbles together with as many people as possible, so naturally everyone congregates around Nehellenium, which consists of most headline brikwars battles and factions. On the other hand, if you want something one off and off the wall, your bubbles will be separate from everyone else's.
Now obviously this makes some things really fragmentry, as nothing exists truly in a vacuum. We need some bullshit glue to hold this all together. And that bullshit is Kuantum-Feary. We say that for the sake of our own sanity that everything exists in the same brikverse, but may or may not be connected depending on who's looking and when. Et Voila! One Brikverse of infinite possibilities with zero consistency, and maximum fun for everyone.
