It's the end of the road!

Elvenknight - Apollyon

The mighty warrior shows his fighting prowess (heroic slash), and wounds Warhead!

His second attack is blocked however.

'Calling a fair fight only to be ambushed? Such disgrace!' yells Warhead and quickly reaches out for his staff.

Then he performs a sauron-style dual sweep which sends the elven hero flying and crashing into his allies.

Although facing countless threats before, the broken and battered Niol is overrun by charging skeletons.

'Well... I had enough of your mortal travesties' says Warhead and reorganizes its ranged troops, all facing the last heroes of the empire.

Despite high armor ratings, even a combined 6d6+2 armor cannot withstand an insane 50 points of damage.

The ground is literally leveled. One black ork fells too, caught in the fire.

Final Overwatch:

Final Kill Chart:
Robot Monkey - 23
Ogel96 - 16
Ham701 - 7
solvess - 37
Ross_Varn - 5
Warhead - 45
Apollyon - 23

The forces of evil return to their lair... but what will they do now? You'll find it out soon...

I realized the threat of the doomwailer too late. And when i did its intended doom was killed before it could reach it.
Also, some coordination between players of the good side might have helped here...
Oh and i intended a fair faight Warhead. I did not ask the others to join in.
Congratulations on an epic final battle Zahru. Let's see if the conclusion of the story arc as such will be equallly epic.

Time to leave this place of evil and foul undead.

As was said before-

Where is the Horse and the Rider? Where is the Horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk and the bright hair flowing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.

And so ends the Coming Storm.

...and the shadows belongs to me.

That was an awesome battle, I had many nervous moments. If I had used the Doom Wailer and defended on my deployment I might have had more to throw in at the end for an overwhelming victory but a close combat struggle is far more fun to watch.

@Appolyon: I know they just joined in, those craven whelps. But I was playing on the fact that their actions would have shamed the Elven Hero's honour in doing so.

I'm quite saddened that this will be Medivo Warheads last march, the campaign has been truly Epic. Well done to Zahru, I salute your awesomeness in making so many excellent battles and stories. I am in awe sir, in staggered awe.

I look forward to the end storey, in the hopes I survived. You never know when it comes to Fate.
