History
In a millennium long-since past, there where two warring Navies strived to control the seas of the planet Tortuga. They fought for 12 1/2 long years until a witch named Verna Præcantrix who was tired of the conflict tearing the world apart. Cursed both Navies with Sanguine Vampyritus. Both Navies turned to vampires, but the conflict still raged on for another 300 years, long after when Verna died.
Eventually, both sides came to realize that neither was gaining any ground. And that most of them couldn't even remember why they were fighting in the first place. So after 313 years, they finally struck a truce. They decided that Tortuga could be beautiful once again if they worked together to restore it. They soon realized the futility of this and turned to piracy on the few independent settlements on Tortuga. They ended up recruiting most of the people and then discovered that some of the more powerful vampires gained magical powers. This enabled them to enchant their ships with flight, even to soar to the stars. They soon became a menace all across the lawless sector and stole many valuables and livestock (read: people with blood). They eventually renamed themselves and their newly formed Armada to reflect their new nature.
Thus the Tenebranox Armada was born.
