Lund is one of the C.I.A.'s top field agents, Lund is often leads missions involving espionage, subterfuge, and illicit intelligence gathering. He is one of the few Americans to have been to The Reef.

The Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Trattorian Affairs often handles the work too dirty or mundane to get involved in. He has a history of working with Agent Lund on operations regarding Trattoria.
