Krupp Steel began as a family venture in G.R. 1587, predating the existence of some star empires. Starting as an arms and gunsmithing guild, Krupp shortly thereafter expanded into its signature steel sector in the 18th century.
Today, Krupp is the largest company in the Third Alliance and the powerhouse of the Bavarian economy. It is the leader of the galactic steel market and also manufactures arms, metallic alloys, and heavy machinery. Their Krupp light armor is the signature uniform of Bavarian infantry. Krupp's steel is notable for its lightweight but strong nature due to superior smelting techniques.
Krupp has formed special partnerships with Bavarian Machinery Works regarding the manufacture of hovercar parts, and has also attempted to enter the space elevator business.
