Captain's Log: We have landed on a small planet after hearing a distress call. The main ship sent a dropship and escort down to look for evidence of the contagion on the lone settlement. As we come down, all the buildings are rubble, save one. Rubble from a building damaged one of our main turrets so I'm stuck covering the engineer while he fixes it.
The commander of the Marines onboard told me the contagion was an altered form of rabies. He has his own fireteam, a fireteam with probably no morals because they are the ones with the task of shooting anyone infected.
Meanwhile, the escort landed while the marines search the remaining structure so he has enough fuel to get back to the ship. Good thing he has a pistol to keep him alive if he's attacked.
The men have come back. They found one shorty, no trace of the contagion. He said his family was infected, so he burned them and threw them in a neighboring building. Then some ships came by and bombed every building that the contagion could be found in. The men shot him. There's no room on the spaceship.
