Artillery is a generic term that encompasses several divisions, from medieval siege engines, to the familiar cannon, the anti-armor, and even rockets and missiles. Simply put, artillery is defined as any kind of large weapon intended to be used by multiple crewmen and, in most cases, aimed at large and general targets. Artillery are the best ranged weapons an army can have. They are also the most damaging and powerful but are often the most difficult to deploy. Many historical battles have been won by the general whose artillery was better placed and more able to blow all of his opponents into little bits.
