Bley is a fan-slang term for a color of LEGO brand construction bricks released around 2002, when the LEGO company changed the formula for their gray bricks. The result was a more bluish gray, hence bley = blue + grey. This event is known as the "Gray Shift" in the internal Kanon of the BrikVerse.

The official name for the new color is "Stone grey" (with modifiers "Light", "Medium", and "Dark" -- there's no plain "stone grey"), but "bley" gets the point across much more quickly.
