Dreadnuts (and often Dreadnought/Dreadnaught, but only when GW isn't looking) are Medium size mecha vehicles, often used in science fiction themed battles. The true Dreadnuts contain a skilled warrior with injuries so severe, he would not normally be able to fight, although more often than not is used to designate mecha with similar chassis design.
What sets Deadnuts apart from other bipedal mecha is there distinctive short bulky shape, with a heavily armoured torso section that carries weapons on either side.
