Eastern Isles

The planet which is recorded in the galactic databanks as #37563, also referred to as ’Medivo’ is a small, Earth-like geoid in a rather small and remote galaxy. It resembles Earth, both in size and geology; though the galactic factions show no interest towards it, as its core has a unique kind of radiation, which negates all high-tek reactors and engines, making orbiting impossible. It can be reached via magikal means, though, such as portals and rifts.

This radiation forces regular teknologikal advancements to halt, hence the natives are stuck at a medieval/early renaissance teklevel. The planets' inhabitants live as the ancient royal bloodline’s descendants, but at a different time and place, and while the forces and factions resemble those of the age of modern dragon’s ones, it’s all just for the sake of plot convenience.

Medivo has four known Continents: Westeron, located at the South-West; which governed by various forces and factions. The other continent is Northeros, which is up in the North-East, and the majority of minifigs are under a unified rule. Several smaller isles exist as well, though they are not well documented by cartographers, as both continents' inhabitants are locked in constant conflict. As such, diplomacy between continents is between non-existent/limited. A third, Midran, is south of Northros and east of Westeron. It is divided equally between our Lady of Vengence, the Hollows in the Wrath, and tne Second Kingdom to the South West. Not much is known about the 4th continent, aside from it being known as the Eastern Isles, and the fierceness of its barbarians and the might of its Dragon Guard.

The Inhabitants of Medivo

Medivo is populated by many different races of minifigs, almost all of them can be found anywhere in the galaxy. Aside from regular minifigs (who often give themselves the title ’humans’, and are the dominant species), other sub-species that can be found include:

Beastmen: one of the lowliest lifeforms, Beastmen are exactly what it says on the tin: minifigs with animalistic features. They come in multiple shapes and forms, from furbeasts to minotaur; even the rather dubious cyclops are considered as such. Most of them inhabit the South-Eastern corner of Medivo, known as the 'Amazon Patch': a lush, verdant jungle basin. However, some nomadic tribes, mostly bullmen, wander the Bone Wastes of the West. Savage and feral, they have issues with being organized, hence did not pose much of a threat so far.

Dwarves: Dwarves are short, stout, and possess such qualities as fascination towards ale, inventive nature, greed etc. Dwarves typically consist of seventeen main organs: The beard, the boozehole, the gratuitous Scottish accent, 13 livers and an axe. They were the first to discover gunpowder and explosives, which they shared with the humans. They’re in an alliance with them, since everyone else are worse. Dwarves originate from 3 clans, each distinguished by their beard color: The Crimsonbeards (red), The Oakbraids (brown), and The Ironguts (black).

Elves: Elves are ancient and rather secretive, just as in all fantasy settings. They don’t differ much from regular minifigs, though males seem to lack facial hair. Two types are distinguished: High elves, who rule the North-Eastern corner of Medivo, including the Evergreen Woodlands and beyond; and Amazon elves, who are more tribal and known for their fierce females. They are an ancestral vanguard who have driven out the beasts of from the Evergreen Woodlands centuries ago and sworn to keep the feral threat contained inside the Amazon Patch. Elves, Dwarves, and the Empire together form the Alliance of Northeros.

Orks (strictly with a k): orks don’t really differ from space orks, some even think that they’re nothing more than descendants of a once crash-landed warband of space orks. They lived in the Western Wastelands along other beastmen, however, recently they have been launching numerous campaigns against the Empire of Northeros. Orks are destructive by nature, and they believe in various supernatural forces, ranging from shamanism to demon-worship. They are also naturally attuned to magik. Orks are allied with larger greenskins known as trolls, it is still a matter of debate whether they’re a mutated orks, or a completely different species. Nevertheless, they provide some additional brawn for the hordes.

Undead: while not really a race, it is worth mentioning that on Medivo, for some reason, dead don’t always stay dead. Although they appeared in the past, the undead hordes only appeared in great numbers when the rogue majistik Malekim visited Medivo. A lot of the current wars and conflicts stem from the undead rising.

As mentioned earlier, ’humans’ are the most numerous inhabitants of the planet.

History of the ’human’ minifigs of The Empire of Northeros

In the beginning, humanity was the same as dungan or beastmen, only with less fur. They lived in tribes, scattered, and weak. During these times, many things threatened the minifigs, natural, unnatural, and supernatural alike. Humanity almost faced extinction. Then, a hero emerged. His name was Zahru.

Zahru’s origins fade to the past. One thing’s for sure: with his emergence, humanity could survive his early years. Zahru wandered around the world, helping always who needed aid. Many tales tell about his great deeds. In one, he saved a village from a dungan warband, by teaching them how to use bow and arrows, so the villagers could cover him while fighting. In another, he fought against a dozen of trolls, slaying them all by himself. During the fight, he bathed in their blood, and gained troll strength and the ability to regenerate. His left arm was warped and became troll-like as well. Apart from these stories he slowly began to elevate from a warrior hero to a divine being in public consciousness. His most greatest deed was the legend of vanquishing the evil spirit known as Warhead; for this he gathered the best warriors from everywhere and forged an army. With their aid, Zahru could defeat the dark hordes and severely wounding Warhead; he sealed him in a mountain which he then hidden underground. The survivors of the battle were given demigod-like powers by Zahru, who left Medivo behind afterwards. Zahru’s existence is still a matter of debate, but many hope that when humanity will face great danger that would threaten its existence, Zahru would return from the past and kick ass.

After the tribal ages, humans reached medieval tek, and thus began the Age of Factions. Many different houses and clans ruled in these days, loose alliances were made and broken every day. It was a time of strife and confusion. Humanity's new foe was itself. Many houses became powerful nobility later, such as the Lionmanes, the Wolfbanes, and the Crowclaws.

This age of strife ended with the coming of the Majistik. They were mighty wizards, all of them masters of different domains. They gathered some of the lesser houses, and reformed them as their own army: the Dragontalons. Asides from men, Majistiks had dragons; mighty green firedrakes. With an army of their own, the Majistik declared war on all factions: thus began the War of Unification.

While the war was raging, the Majistik did many things. They created ley lines of power, with which they could tame and channel the streams of magic; they also built countless monoliths throughout the world to serve as focus points where magic energies could be stored. Also, they left behind many laboratories; most places haven't been discovered so far.

The War of Unification ended with Dragontalon victory. However, instead of making everyone their vassals, the Majistik united the houses and established the united human kingdom, which would be known as the Empire of Northeros. After that, the Majistik mysteriously left, giving the reins of fate into Imperial hands.
