The Galacian Militsiya is a militarized police force raised by the Greater Galacian Imperiya administration to police and protect civilian locations, so that the Imperiya's military can be better used elsewhere. They are reasonably equipped and trained to deal with the unrest and sectarian violence across the cluster, but are also known for being very unreliable and corrupt. Often refusing to provide services to some regions of colonial cities due to repeated attacks.
Militsiya sometimes works alongside the Army when deployed in the area, and they are also known to collude with vigilante groups and gangs, much to the chagrin of others. Due to high casualty , injury and dropout rates, First year Militsiya officers are paid a meagre wage. Those who stay, or survive long enough to reach their second year will start to receive some reasonable benefits, making it an attractive government job for those not willing to go fight on the frontlines far from home.
VGI Militsiya was deployed in the cities on Tusk, and Sokolov in Q4 R.2017, on both worlds the attempted to protect the civilian populace, and fend off Cherhovna Bryhada, Brotherhood and Confederate sympathisers from themselves and each other. While public opinion believed that the VGI-M was collaborating with Cherhovna Bryhada, the reality was that the Police played both sides, regularly planting intelligence and tip-offs, weakening both sides
