House Shadho was once the most noble and honorable of the Great Houses of Mocia, but their opposition to Rainbowism cost them dearly, and they fell into disgrace with the rise of the Rainbowist King MethHouse in BR 2,004. The Shadho claim descent from the Yellow King through the ShadowHawk bloodline.
The Shadho were stripped of their lands and holdings, which were usurped by their cousins in the more Rainbow-friendly House Rayho. Destitute and unable to maintain their once proud army of Shadho Knights, the great majority of their forces left to sell their services as mercenaries or joined the VladTron Rebellion against the Rainbowists.
With the Shadho defenses in disarray, House Rayho, under the control of the house matriarch Rayho's Mom, took immediate advantage and arranged for the capture or assassination of the Shadho noble family members. It is believed that the remaining heir to the Shadho bloodline, the Faucon of Shadho, is held hostage in a secret Rayho sky prison against the possibility of Shadho loyalists attempting revenge.
