A Large[5 systems under it's complete control, and 140 client systems] Mega corp that provides cheap[ish] and [relatively]fast interstellar communications to who ever want's it and has the credits to afford it.
Military Branch
The Military branch of Syder Communications is used to defend, and take, points of interest to the Megacorp.
Syder Comm provides Communications to many planets, most of which are dangerous. as such Syder Comm sets up full blown military bases to defend their assets. It also copiously employs combat drones.
