Re: Something is coming...
I've completed the first draft. It's likely to be the final version unless I rework the turret cannons. Current armaments: 3 double 6" cannons on dorsal turret mounts. 8 double 4" cannons on side turret mounts. 1 17" spinal cannon along the ventral keel. Crew (minimum): 1 Commander, 1 Pilot, 3 Gunne...

Very nice SHIP. Exterior, interior, guns, styling, it's all great work.

Re: Something is coming...
I've updated the OP with another pair of pictures, showing a far more finished upper hull, as well as a reworked stern superstructure/bridge.

Something is coming...
The Basilikoi have been withdraw behind their border Kastra for some time, but rumblings of a major construction project have begun to pass beyond the limits of imperial space. Let the barbarians tremble! http://i743.photobucket.com/albums/xx75/levi_porphyrogenitus/Space%20Basilikoi/SomethingIsComin...

Re: Mechwarrior Online
New update time. 2 patches have dropped since my last post. First one added ECM, which revolutionized the battlefield. LRMs and Streaks became much harder to use well, and teams with lots of ECM generally had a big advantage over those with less. Matchmaking shifted to allow 8-man teams to face off ...

Re: Mechwarrior Online
New update today. Streak SRMs are now a little bit OP again. The preponderance of light Mechs and the fixing of Streaks has led to a huge surge in the number of Streakapults that are appearing on the battlefield (Catapults with 6x SSRM2s). The Cataphract is now available as well. Its head is a bit e...

Re: Mechwarrior Online
Figured I'd do a quick state-of-the-game update. Nov 6 PGI pushed a patch that broke LRMs. They added Artemis IV, which tightened weapon groupings, and they managed to bug the flight trajectories, making LRMs essentially ignore cover and preferentially hit the head and center torso of targets. They ...

MWO is frakking ossum.
Plus it's getting only queuing solo or in twos. Scrubs are ruining my day.

Re: Mechwarrior Online
I really wish they hadn't allowed custom mechs... not only does it go against MechWarrior lore, it also destroys any attempt at game balancing by the developers. Eh, custom mechs are not unheard of in lore, and they're a huge part of pretty much every past game in the mechwarrior franchise. Plus, t...

Re: Mechwarrior Online
I've been away from the forums for quite a few months now, and this game is largely responsible. Got in the Closed Beta in July, and haven't looked back. It's Open Beta now, though, and I heartily encourage everyone to download and join the fun. It's an amazing game, despite its flaws in its current...

For the leg, swap out one of the red legs for a yellow to achieve a slit-dress effect (long dress but slit way up one side so the leg shows pretty much all the way up).

Mandalorians are one of the best things about the Star Wars setting, and your Basilisk War Droids are masterful.

Re: Mini-Evolution
The obvious first step is for them to build an altar from the remains of the pod (surmounted by the helmet of the deceased Spaceman), and begin to offer sacrifices to the OTC (mounted on the altar). The goal would be for the OTC to accept these sacrifices and give the Great Grand High Potentate (chi...
