Re: Heavy's Horses
I would make it depend on how fixed or stable the Heavy is. Obviously standing on the wing of a biplane isn't a stable enough platform to use your compensating ability as you would still be "moving", while the flatbed of a truck or the deck of a ship obviously are very stable surfaces. In case of a ...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII
Ok so what happens when a unit with fixed armor is blessed? Say a minifig with heavy armor (6 armor) is blessed by a d10 for armor does it function like two dice? Roll the d10 and choose the highest still be that the 6 or whatever is rolled on the d10? Or does it ignore the 6 and simply roll a d10+...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII
Having a command vehicle antenna/dish work as a a spawner does seem to make sense. For immersion sake I would probably say the units either parachuted in or if the command vehicle is on the edge of the playing field the reinforcements could just walk onto the map. The added value of a command vehicl...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII
Dude you can always fudge an inch or two. Why stop there? A weapon's physical size isn't a concrete limitation on its stats. You could stat a 2" weapon as an 8" one if you wanted to. But its power requirement and use rating scale up to match. Yeah I agree completely. Although it can be hard to conv...

Re: Armor: How Often Do You Roll?
Reroll for every source of damage. Combined fire and ganging-up count as one source of damage.

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII
Dude you can always fudge an inch or two. If their actual size is 2" but you feel like that's underwhelming just make it count as size 3 or 4. We get that a lot here on the forums: "Help this gun is only x amount of inches but I want it to have stronger stats what should I do you guys?" Besides it s...

Re: BW 2010 feedback
I'm very curious to what stubby has in thought for the 'skirmisher' units.
I imagine some kind of ability to allow them to hop in and out of CC without any big risks.

Re: New CP idea
I was against the unit inches in the beginning but after all this time I realised that I never really balance out armies that precisely anyway. Usually I just look at both armies and see if they seem fair and if they don't I add a couple of units or remove some. So the Ü system does deem like a wond...
