Re: Custom Hex Stands from Catspaw Customs

Someone should tell those guys that their helmets are on backwards. :P Hahaha! It's clearer in the individual and frontal shots, but they're intended to represent some kind of protective force shield generated by a headset. I was determined to find a use for those trans-clear helmets... http://farm...

Re: Custom Hex Stands from Will Chapman (BrickArms)

I dig the color assortment! Those minifigs on display look pretty damn classy too... what's the deal with the squad in red? Thanks! That's my Jovian Fleet faction. Re: Custom Hex Stands from Will Chapman (BrickArms)

Just shot this tonight; here's a usage example that's likely to speak much more directly to the crowd around here: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7175/6820052321_21832d9005_z.jpg A typical party of fantasy adventurers faces off against the undead. The skeletons are using the basic 2S hex stand, while...

He's probably referring to the JFLR, which was indeed inspired in part by the Combat Rifle from DX:HR--specifically with the suppressor attachment.

Re: Custom Hex Stands from Will Chapman (BrickArms)

I'm afraid the Hex Stands cannot be connected directly to a baseplate--doing so would require stud notches cut into four of the sides the way many Lego wedge plates are designed. While this would expand their usability a bit as a part for building, I opted against this kind of design because it woul...
