Re: Phobian Marines - Back from the brink (pic-heavy)
I'll be updating the forces with fun stuff later; I've nerfed the extra useless troops a bit. It's now two squads of five, each led by a Zone Trooper. I'm working on some mini-factions to start up a little battle; might be just me testing out some rules but I'll be sure to take pics anyway because c...

Re: Phobian Marines - Back from the brink (pic-heavy)
Dude! It's Manly Fucking Santa! That it is. I'm sure there are better ones but the following reasons I shall give: -I don't have any red bandana pieces to I painted a skullcap. Any ideas for alternatives? -Was gonna go for bare-armed MFS but in all honesty it's SANTA IN A FUCKING TRENCHCOAT. Which ...

Re: Phobian Marines - Back from the brink (pic-heavy)
Forgot to throw this up there. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7435/9091630608_58c35696aa_z.jpg A more streamlined variant of the Assault Car, Some random scout pod (may or may not be with this army) and the OT-Shielded cannon. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3756/9109895218_96c9142c36_z.jpg Also random...

Re: Phobian Marines - Back from the brink (pic-heavy)
Good to be back. I did replace Umbra's OT Halberd because I'm not exactly sure it fits. It's nice and huge and badass but I want him to be more visceral and close-up in combat. Halberds are like the coward's battleaxe in this army. Now it's just a 40k-looking OTC with a smg-type thing as a sidearm. ...

Re: Phobian Marines - Back from the brink (pic-heavy)
Get a better camera man. Those pics are more grainy than a sandbox. Well it's grainy because it's an iPhone. It was 1am and I didn't feel like rattling things around for a legit camera :P Thanks, I'm trying to give these guys some more bulk in the cannon fodder department but I'm completely out of ...

Phobian Marines - Back from the brink (pic-heavy)
Well. I've been away doing life-y things for the past many months but I recently decided to rebuild the Phobian Marines. The army starts to ditch the old militaristic organized feel in favor of a more BrikWarsy approach to the private army of a galactic overlord. Figured I'd grab everyone's attentio...

Re: Vehicle Stat Cards
So I honestly had no idea that anyone actually replied to this... guess I should've checked but that would've required effort. I do usually use spreadsheets for stats; I was merely wondering why there weren't stat cards for vehicles. The whole "vehicles are very different" thing makes sense so I now...

Re: The Phobian Marines
Fair enough; I don't think anything in BrikWars should ever be fair, which is why I'm considering hosting a forum battle with the Phobians, some Negablox, and factions comprised of like... 5 people each. Oh and Medieval dudes. Gotta love hacking and slashing.

Re: The Phobian Marines
'sounds fair' was more of a sarcastic undertone: 2d10 damage is not fair to anything short of other OTC s. I'm thinking that any OT material has a structure level of 4, so ORANGE TRANSPARENT BARRICADES and ORANGE TRANSPARENT WINDSHIELDS (which I have) would have an armor value of 4d10, meaning that ...

Re: The Phobian Marines
Yeah, that's what I was going for before deciding to use it with the Phobians. Speaking of which I just found pictures of a full battle from two years ago... should I still throw it in the battle reports list? The only notable thing I can remember without looking through it is that Dumbledore was wi...

Re: The Phobian Marines
Danke. For now that's all there's going to be unless I get more ideas/parts. I have next to no other factions except for medieval and Negablox. Unless you want to see five civilians and six mercenaries team up in their own separate factions :P Making additional stats now, if anyone has any ideas for...

Re: The Phobian Marines
Well the army has undergone a decent improvement today. two additional four-man squads of infantry have been added, as well as eight additional specialist troops, bringing the minifig count to around 41. Also, a few new vehicles have been added which is also fun. Here's what's new so far. http://www...

A few more pics. First thing's first: what about Buster Swords? http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/UndeadSlayer/BrikWars/group_foto.jpg Now that that's out of the way. If you thought that Umbra was badass, his predecessor was just as much (maybe a little less). http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Undea...
