If you add a few pieces too the hands and arms, you could give them customizable loadouts too, but yeah, it looks cool

then again, if the hero dice could only be used on heroic actions - maybe relating to that hero's cliche - then it might work as a better alternative to heroic feats. i.e.: a commander hero uses his heroic dice to buff allies a beefcake hero uses his dice to boost damage a pilot hero uses his heroic...

If you had a wizard hero with supernatural dice AND heroic dice, it might be a bit much, especially since if could add your HDs to your SDs

Have you thought of maybe rewarding more points the quicker you complete the objective? All missions have a base point value, and every round, it loses one point from its maximum. This would only be the case with missions, though, so quests would still grant more points, since they have no point dro...
