It took them until recently to change the arm on the battle droids so that they weren't holding the blaster sideways. It's a shame that great things have to be copied and ripped off by crap...be original because ripping off someone else's idea is Pathetic.

Battle Droids and Stormtroopers essentially serve in the same capacity (that is, cannon fodder), but a stormtrooper is clearly a minifig.

If something isn't clearly a minifig I have trouble identifying it for any reason as such.

Quick question; are battle droids and such regarded as minifigs?

For some God-awful reason they are...of course when you disassemble them and use their carcasses as scrap for your other creations...then they don't.

I buy for parts mostly, I choose my sets based on what the parts can do for me. I build only about 10% of the sets I buy and the only current set I have assembled is the Millennium Falcon because duh. I would never let a peach keep me from buying the parts I want. Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Marve...
