Smaller images please. Interesting beginning, but then it got boring. Smaller images wouldn't do the comic justice, in my opinion. But your opinion is duly noted. Also, if you came in expecting toilet humour and action from a film noir comic, you're definitely barking up the wrong tree. @ Paco: Than...

The Tale of the Three Knights

Given this is my first non-forum-influenced comic, I thought I'd throw it up here as well. Enjoy. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Grombrindal/Three-Knights/page_1.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Grombrindal/Three-Knights/page_2.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Grombrindal/Three-Knights/...

Which is still, in itself, a compliment, so thanks.

Nice little MOC and I agree, the Dragon faction is nice. I have a few of them. Will we be seeing the "Farmhouse" at some point? Only if I get inspired to build it, and can find a few more of the 1x4 or 1x6 tiles to use as wood boards. I like the photography. I guess that's a compliment, so thanks.

Sir Hector Returns Home

He'd moved into the farmhouse his father had left and had quickly made it his own. But one day, six years after leaving to join the army, Sir Hector returned home... ...

you realize that you can build it however you want and still use roughly the same rules, right? That's the point of the whole scenario - I propose the rules and you guys can adapt them to suit your own battlefield or homemade rules :). There's something like this already, in real life, it's called ...

I hereby nominate myself as the mission writer. My forte is in creative writing (ask Dood - he knows), but as long as someone maps it and draws the mechs for me, I'll play too :P.

Thanks for the kind words, guys :D. Kirk's decals can be found here. There's 32 different head decals to choose from, and a few torsos (or, if you're like me, you order 32 light-grey heads and print every decal :P), so have fun ;).

Can you compare the drawing to a brick. I just wanna see how big it is. Well, the map's a bit out of scale now, but the light-grey area in the middle is made up of four of these . That means the middle area is 98 studs squared, or 9216 studs in total :P. The tan squares are 32 x 32 baseplates , as ...

Grom, you are a goddamn genius. I know :P. Oh God, I want to play this. Then go ahead. It's freely playable to anyone who wants a go ;). Anyway, battlefield's about...50% constructed. Finding space is proving to be a bit of a problem - half the table I use for LEGO is now battlefield, and the other...

The text under the map explains that - I intend it to be either a watertower or a well, depending on whether or not I can find the curved wall pieces I have to make the tank .

So I came up with a scenario for a Brikwars battle. I'm in the process of making the battlefield, and I'm going to take pictures and make it a battle report when I play it out with my brother. In the meantime, let me know what you think of the scenario! http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Grombrindal/Spr...
