Re: Jack Stone figs + Friends horse = ?

Perhaps an investment in a low dollar friends kit is in order for research? Better to spend 10 on a girly set than hundreds on useless horses

discussion: general purpose vehicles

I'm starting to flesh out vehicles for my forces. I am currently using the military mule for scouts/snipers, the cj5 style (m38?) As an airdropable vehicle for recon forces... But I'm pulled in multiple directions for the main forces general purpose vehicle. My army is focused around tech available ...

Re: Jack Stone figs + Friends horse = ?

Though a bit of a necro... Have you tried to compare the size of jacks feet to that of the friends feet? I believe jacks are 1.5x1 stud.... Though you may know better than I. No clue with the friends. If jacks are the same size or smaller, you're golden

Re: Watched Gundam, got inspired, built a thing.

How about Heavy Armor, Walking Gun. I find the 2 sets of arms alil over redundant. Realism wise a mounted gun could be easier to sight than one in a mechanical arm. Also you get more opportunity for dakka and to fire more weapons if frame mounted from my understanding.

Re: Fire for Effect

Copying Michael bays movies are in the spirit of brikwars... His backwards thoughts on war and personal freedoms n firearms on the otherhand... #derailedtopic.... So far figuring out artillery seems to be generally thought of as a good idea

Re: Fire for Effect

I've always felt that indirect fire was overpowered. Not to mention cowardly. You should look a fig in the eye when you put him down. Next youll tell me sniping is a cowardly act.... i don't want to hear it michael bay lol. Artillery is viable for historic anti vehicle rolls. And was the dominating...

Fire for Effect

In rulebook.... i posted a topic with the intent to simulate a fire for effect style attack for brikwars. My general idea was to treat it as a sort of automatic fire when certain criteria are met. First criteria was that a scout has to have visual on the target. This was to simulate a call in from a...

Re: Fire for Effect

Just saying any launcher can fire its size worth of explosives so to do what you are saying simple buy a large laucnher (Size 6 or so) and load it to the brim with size 1 explosives and continue to fire 6 size 1 explosives. This does sort of work..... unless you are doing man portable items such as...

Fire for Effect

For those of you that are unfamiliar with military lingo.... fire for effect is similar to repeat (never say repeat over a radio... it means repeat fire mission). It signals the artillery battery that they have made a sucessful hit and can unleash multiple rounds to do an area of effect sweep to kil...

Re: Story gaming

Perhaps it was just the fact that im from an army family.... however even at a young age with sandbox battles and little green army men.... I aimed to have a glorious battle. I got the wounded home. I lived for those MoH moments in our little made up wars. 3rd graders etc should have no trouble usin...

Re: Story gaming

While I understand that sentiment, at the same time you can always be over prepared for a battle etc. But I do suppose that could just be my mindset. Id figure youd bring a standard x amount of forces with y amount of z sized vehicles that will be used in battle as well as alil extra just incase som...

Re: Story gaming

May I make a suggestion for tactical retreat? I think that it would be a good idea to have extra vehicles on hand for it. I think it should be an actual tactical retreat. Where the player must bound back troops to an LZ and evac out every fig possible. Leave the table or room where the conflict is o...
