yes, the bases have a row of 4 single studs down the middle and the underneath looks like a regular place. a 3x4 plate.

this lists a few castle sets, unfortunatly zero dwarf impulse or elves mentioned at all...

cows and pirates however are great news!

this makes me doubt investing in piles of lego castle (fantasy era) lego.
