Yeah I've been going with Star Wars battle packs thus far... it's really not a bad deal for a hand full of figs and some keen parts. It's not a great deal but for buying first hand sets right from Lego... it's not a bad deal either. The toy story green army men were also good if you swap them out w...

isn't that what the battle packs were for? they updated the clone and droid packs - maybe they'll do the same with rebs and imps I'm certainly hoping they do. I just haven't seen any indication that they will. Do I want a platoon of camo rebels? Yes. Do I want to pay a lot of money getting them onl...

Yeah... With both the dropship and the AT-TE in one set, it would probably hit 200 bucks. Very unappealing to the average kid's budget. Then again, you could probably figure out a mod for the dropship that lets it carry the AT-TE... Someone will do it. Sooner than you can imagine. I have both sets ...

I can understand that, but why not use wheels or repulsorlifts for a much higher speed? Shields. It's a very well established point of star wars tech that theater shields allow objects to pass which are physically in contact with the ground. It's similar to the Dune shield physics but not quite exa...

i agree i just wish there was 1 more normal clone. i wanna get 5 of those once i get my fifth lander. Well, once you get to a point where you can tell yourself: "Ok, I'm done building my forces, now I just want to round things out..." you can always go on ebay and buy a couple minifigs individually.

WOULDNT IT BE SLOWER BECUASE IT OFF BALANCE? THE FIRST ONE HAS GUNS ON EITHER SIDE SO THEY BALANCE IT OUT AND KEEP IT STRAIT. THIS ONCE WOULD LEAN TO THE LEFT BECAUSE THERE TWO MISSILES ON THAT SIDE AND NO COUNTER-SUPPORT ON THE OTHER SIDE! The Artillery model is very heavily off-center. The cannon...

i nearly all wargame haveing air transport is very usefull, thats way im building a army forcued on ground-air and air-air but with some ground-ground and air-ground since it would be very vanible to ground armys. I prefer the clone walker kits. They're really easy to make look good with additional...

I've acquired more walker kits (actually the last ones I could find in the city...), and thought I'd post the variants I've come up with. Since the Lego clone walker is unnamed (it's not an AT-RT, because that's a single-seater) I'm calling these all AT-MIs (All Terrain Mechanized Infantry). AT-MI/a...

Re: piroko
as much as i thank you for the lesson, i think all arrange my squads by NATHANS chain of command instead of PALPATINES chain of command. so that means 5 men squads, four stormies with onen shadow/pilot and a dropship, and 5 of them under 1 leader. The dropships do make 5's convenient; and in a brik...

Re: nice
brikwars + about 50 clones + 3 bombers + 9 jetpack droids= :) Squads in the Grand Army of the Republic consist of nine infantrymen, one of them a sergeant (ie, the sarge is not a supernumerary). Elite units operate in fire teams of four, scouts in lances of five. In the Imperium, the sergeant is su...
