I just read through Chapter Nine of the rulebook (the one about vehicles) and there is not one requirement regarding practicality for a vehicle inside that chapter. You could do two things: Bother statting up entire ducks based on inch size, upgrades etc. in which case it's just hitting up the rulebook and designing your own creatures with their own costs and abilities oooooor you could just grab the type of unit you want a duck to be and just designate a unit...
