Skirmish in the Fairy Forest
Even though relations between Human Kingdoms and forest-fairies haven't ever been that friendly, there has been surprisingly few bloody incidents - especially if you consider the deep xenophobia that plagues most Minifig nations. The forst fairies are alien in most regards - they are peaches, they h...

Re: Rule Book difficulties
There is just this topic where people discuss work-in-progress-chapters of the rulebook, the quotes are probably from there. But no, the blank chapters are blank, because they have not been written yet. There is no conspiracy, just work-in-progress.

Baalvillain Codex
Many venture far in search of arcane knowledge, and even more disappear on that road of mysticism and daemonology. Whether driven mad or succumbed to unholy temptations, some of the brightest mind of minifig scholars have been lost in the tomes and scrolls of the Baalvillain and their terrible serva...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII
Do weapons mounted higher up on a vehicle gain the height advantage range bonus? For example if i have a mech 6" and it has shoulder mounted weapons mounted 5" from the ground does it get the 5" range bonus? Of course. Only thing that matters is how high the gun is from its target. How would multip...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII
1) Cover isn't some creature-based stat, it means just how large part of creature/structure can be targetted. It really doesn't matter how large that tank you're shooting at is. Only thing that matters is how large target area you have. For example, 6" tank behind the cover of a 2" wall would have 4...

Re: BW 2010 feedback
What if the skirmishers could shoot with ranged weapons in CC? Kind of Gun Fu.stubby wrote:I'm thinking of also letting them make ranged and CC attacks in the same turn as long as it's against the same target, but it may be more complicated than it's worth.

Re: Space Ship Specialties
FTL seems a bit... well, pointless. Depends on sci-fi setting, though. Realistically speaking, FTL should be hundred times of normal flight speed, and I don't think such speeds would make any sense in combat. Like we don't have much army transport systems, supply trains etc, I don't think we'd need ...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII
So, do I get this right: Let's say I have a Size 6 fighter jet with Structure Level of 2. It gathers 6 MOM for a crash. Maximum Crash Damage is 2d6. That amount of damage seems very underwhelming, if I, for example, charge it towards tightly-packed group of minifigs, and a plane could realistically ...

Re: Redshirting
I have the greatest vision of a hero with personal guard of armored, sentinent horses ready to sacrifice themselves at any moment.
... if we're making horses independent, why won't we throw them guns already? Who needs minifigs when you have horses?

The minifig survives. He has more armor than the attack deals damage. Simple as that.

Re: Whip it good! (Whip/tentacle weapon stats)
Seems pretty usable stats. Simple but interesting. Few clarifications, though.
Do we have rules for Stun? How does it work?
Whip basically acts much like 1d6 SN Move Die, doesen't it? It would simplify stuff a lot to just say that Whip Trik die is a SN Move Die of wielder's skill.

Re: SN dice
What about something like making a unit drop a weapon? I guess that would be moving the weapon with a SN dice. Movement Dice can be used to affect the Move rating of mobile units, objects, and Vehicles, or to move targets directly. Increasing or decreasing a target's Move rating is the simplest use...

Re: Transformable Weapons and Alternate Firemodes
Just make them spend action on switching mode, and it's balanced enough.
That Anti-Grav Gun is damn interesting concept.

Re: Do Explosive Blasts Go Through Walls?
It's quite simple. When a grenade-sized Explosive goes off, it creates a blast of Explosion Damage (Exp) that affects all objects within two inches. All objects includes minifigs. If it's on 2" range, it takes the damage. Though I think the Creation would protect the minifig. If the gunner was compl...

Re: Non-Explosive Anti-Armor Weapons
How about having Anti-Armor weaponry with Supernatural 1d12 Damage Die? That would ignore armor and pack pretty good punch.
