I agree.
Dozens of minifigs beating the crap out of each other = fun
Tiny tanks or spaceships shooting the crap out of each other = awesome
Hordes of 1x1 round plates killing each other = mystifying

...The end result is a radio with a bayonet.
The problem with radios is that they're boring, because you can't kill somebody with one. You, my friend, are a problem solver.

The VTOL looks pretty nifty, though I had to guess a bit at the overall shape because none of the pictures show the whole thing. The hardsuit is cool too; it's an efficient design that looks highly mass-producible.

a range of TWENTY FEET seems excessively broken (particularly when mounted on a highly mobile flier) Not when you consider that A: realistically, space battles would be fought at the hundred or thousand-mile range. and B: A real Railgun's range is only limited by the curvature of the earth, no curv...

For really big guns this just seems like a weaker version of the 2001 mass driver rules. The Golden Bough would easily be a MkIV or MkV mass driver, which can deal up to 32d10 (over an 8" radius) or 60d10 (over a 10" radius), respectively. Granted, it's at a shorter range (50"/60"), but a range of T...

Regardless of their quality, the Megablok castle walls just look cool. Almost like Warhammer terrain pieces.

This looked like a fun battle to fight. The photo of the clown opening the mummy's sarcophagus is priceless.

Really impressive photography and photo-editing throughout. I also like the use of the non-Lego explosion markers. The writing was very good too. My favorite moment was when Haussler shot the fallen U.S. soldier; it gave a great example of his character and felt like a moment right out of a movie. E...

Greetings, BrikWarriors. I'm Sibley. I've fought a few BrikWars in my time and hopefully will do some more soon. I have BrikWars to thank for ending my Dark Ages in 2004 but most of my LEGO time since then has been spent building, not battling. Links to my Flickr and MOCpage are in my signature if y...
