Re: Lego-Compatible Action Figure Building Toy
certainly it's possible to build with real lego, but most designs are going to run into one or both of the following: 1. large (ugly) joints exposed. Ball joints from bionicle parts are the worst perpetrators. 2. Flimsy. If some other part that isn't a ball joint is used, the mechs tend to fall apa...

Re: Polish Super Tank Destroyer "Król Sobieski"
On top of this being an amazing build, I actually really dig that the tri-barreled laser is literally just three giant fucking size 6 lasers welded together. For the big shot, do you just roll once with the same UR for a hit-or-miss 18d6 damage? It's amazing how surprisingly well-balanced that soun...

Re: Brawler Suit - Klang-Klang Krush Custom ver.
Man, at this point can we just give Zahru the title "Lord of Mid-scale mechs" already? He clearly deserves it and if he keeps building them at this rate by 2020 he'll be able to take down an Armored Core by sheer weight of mid-mechs. Agreed, though in this case I can't really approve of the design ...

Re: Recon Suit - Apex Nemean Custom
I the general design, but doesn't recon usually imply some element of stealth (ie, the kind of thing that gold plating makes significantly more difficult)?
Also, it has fingers, but hasn't shown off it's ability to give people The Finger and/or throwing up the horns.

Re: Bavarian SHDT Factory Assembly Line
The exact LDD version l can not be built IRL because the round 1x1 plate with hole ( http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=85861 ) is not produced in blue. I have a work-around for that: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NTc4WDUxMA==/z/puwAAOxy~g5Rw~Zg/$%28KGrHqV,!n0FG%29BBmV8QBRw+ZgSVHg~~60_35.JPG

I suspect that you're going to raise the bar for what constitutes a well-built SHDT. I'm gonna need the seal for this again, I just know it.

You can already do that with just multitasking. multidexterity lets you use more 2 limbs for actions.

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII
No need to reinvent the wheel, bro - Size 1" weapons already fill that niche. A machine pistol/small SMG is a size 1" AutoGun. A sawn-off shotgun is a size 1" BlastGun. A flame-pistol is a Size 1" FlameThrower. A Size 1" Launcher is a grenade pistol. I also highly suggest you check out the Bastard ...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII
Hmm, good question. We don't have official stats for one-handed fancy guns like machine pistols and sawed-off shotguns, but it seems like you could cook some up. I'd ask BrickSyd. I've already worked up stats for a machine pistol: Size 1 Machine gun (Use 3, Range 5, 1d6 damage). I'm personally thin...

Re: My BrikwaRPG Playtest (Gametime!)
Can you swap the bastard launcher I have for an automatic pistol like in my original post [...] Also, aren't heavy shields only 1 CP? I ask because the 2010 rulebooks says they are, and I could really use that extra CP for multitasking. My mistake about the shield.. it shouldn't even be there at al...
