Re: The official LOOT topic

So I found a place with a big stash of Series 6 Minifig and bought three note Roman Legionnaires (for four total). Now I can make a little squad with Lego-cius Vorenus from S.10 and order them around with the Emperor from... whatever. I also got one of the greys cause I never did the first time arou...

I recently picked up this, umm, I guess it's a miniatures "wargame" from Crooked Dice Studios. It's based on the system they designed for a Doctor Who miniatures game, but they adapted it into something they could sell without licensing, and in the process widened the scope out to cover all sorts of...

Oh good. It was raining, and I didn't have an umbrella like Darth Vader did.

I dropped by and had a look on Saturday. Didn't stand in the line to sit in it, though.

Re: The official LOOT topic

I mean that's how I feel. They're useful products and the price is right, I would hate to see that disappear. On the other hand, they clearly think that adding "BrikWars" to the front of the product name will help it sell (or they'd just be called "blood packs"). It would be nice if Mike got a piec...

Re: The official LOOT topic

Finally found some Series 10 (I haven't been looking that hard). Pulled a Colonial and the Roman.

Cheers to whatever fan of the HBO series Rome put the wolf's head clasp on his torso print.

Re: I'm making a mech...

What has you stuck? I don't know what the alternate joint pieces you're referencing are, so I don't know what is "really there". I started with a whole thing about figuring out a way to connect the pelvis to a torso when it occurred to me that whole part of the model might be what you're talking abo...

The ship is awesome, and that picture is unspeakably fucking awesome, so this thread wins.

You perfectly captured the Classic Space look perfectly by following the instructions in the sets.

I suppose, given that it's entirely free of grittiness, there's no arguing that.

I love all of these. The fighter is awesome. That mechanic's backpack is fucking genius. The machine gun is cool and I love the use of the crackerjack sailors. The axe is funny- I built almost exactly the same thing for one of my guys, I don't think I posted a pic yet. EDIT: oh and the jetpack! I wa...

Re: Lego doodles POST THEM

That's easy, innit? The only thing I said was that it'd be difficult (which you interpreted as 'impossible' / 'not legally possible') to prove someone copied something off you in cases where someone didn't copy it completely. Since we were (originally) talking about Lego designs, there is the possi...

Aww man, I gave this guy space pants and use him as an alien thug. Sometimes he sticks on my Space Orc army.
His head works with their armor.
