Re: Cosmetic Advice

i would guess more of a chaotic evil... the true spirit of brikwars so to speak lol, constant violence. not to say they wouldnt do good for the right price... more killing than knocking out. the game tells the tale of how a boyscout of a soldier breaks away from govt to create a military nation free...

Cosmetic Advice

So I am working on building a faction based on MGSV :TPP, As such I am making a heroic figure based on Big Boss/Venom Snake, I shall be referring to him as "Big Brik"... now I intend on shaving down a 1x1 plate to be shrapenel in the minifig head, and going with a tan body to add in brown striping t...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

I don't have set rules for it anymore, but it's totally possible. You'd probably buy them as Hand Weapons (or Short-Ranged Weapons, for guys like Noborg ) and just leave it at that. You lose a hand (or leg), but you get a weapon that you can't accidentally drop or have stolen. If you really felt ba...

Re: Modern Brick Warfare Toys

Well... work has me doing overtime the next week or two so i will have somewhere between $50 to $200 that i can spend on lego etc. Right now my plan is to buy: "Big Brik" hero complete with greebles n such ( brickforge field gear) With a $.50 side arm from brickarms (to be cut down for greebles) MBW...

Re: Modern Brick Warfare Toys

The sandbags as well as the majority of the weapons and armour from the site appear to come from a european creator. The same people who do the gasmasks it seems... not positive yet. Id trust the site for what few things i want from it. And for $4 for 12 sand bags i may have to try it out myself

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

Is it acceptable for a minifig to do damage with a prostetic device? Such as a hook hand or peg leg or those robot limbs?

Re: Currency

The currency is clearly oil. I mean think about it. Plastic is made of oil so literally everything a minifig has in life is made of oil.... including himself.... plus theyre constantly at war (for oil)

Edit: plus theres the octan and shell oil companies that have thrived in the lego universe

Re: LUGs

Im glad that you found something. If for whatever reason it does not work out i would suggest gaming stores with tabletop days as well. One near me (in the cornfields of il) Does brikwars to introduce people into tabletop gaming

Re: Modern Brick Warfare Toys

I am quite tempted. They have a pistol grip m14 that will be cheaper than marrying an m1 carbine and m21 from brickarms. I have seen the gasmasks before and know that they are popular. Then theres also the slick looking sandbags and mortar... if only i had my army amassed rather than on ldd waiting ...

POPS/SPORTS

I was tinkering in my head with applying military know how to brikwars.... i was reading up on machine guns.... and trying to figure out how often you need to reload... as it is not really specified in the rulebook. And then i got to thinking about how your forces are supposed to be soldiers, traine...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

6. I was reading up on supernatural dice.... and got kinda confused.... do they last forever? Or do they cost CP every use? It seemed to me that the chapter would jump between the two... granted i was reading late at night. 7. I swore there was a rule on supressors long ago... may have been like the...

Modern Brick Warfare Toys

Has anyone heard of this company or purchased from them? Price wise they seem to be about the same as brickarms. But what of the quality? The main reason i ask is because they seem to pack in quite a bit of detail and offer weapons brickarms does not, along with other tactical gear but i do not know...
