Re: Me catching up on some rule issues

Holy shit! Killer Karetsu, long time no see! I thought the demon curse of Tikoskum had gotten you. So I guess the universal rule of rolling a one applies to sprinting and is kind of hinted in the small text, although it isn't directly addressed. So, rolling a one when a minifig is trying to sprint m...

Re: Space Repair Garage: The Comic

If this were a color comic, it'd be easy to solve - you'd give each of the four setups its own identifying color palette, and you could immediately tell which storyline each strip and each frame belonged to. Same with unique lighting setups or distinctive character silhouettes. Since you don't have ...

Re: Heroes piloting stuff

4oHg2KHjye8 Yeah, but think about every time Arnold Schwarzenegger climbs into a Harrier or something. Vehicular Heroic Feats are awesome. The thing about putting a Hero in a vehicle is that you've just taken this great all-purpose problem solver and reduced him into a regular pilot with a +2 skill...

There are more than one? I thought you were the other razgriz back from the dead. There are already a lot of razgriz-based forum jokes thanks to the previous razgriz, so watch out.

Re: BW 2018 Feedback

But then you lose all the funny equal-to effects like chopping limbs off. I love chopping limbs off! I think this points to a deeper issue, which is that different people will use the BW rulebook for vastly different things. I've been thinking about generalizing the damage = armor options so it's n...

Re: BW 2018 Feedback

So the first two minifigs take 4 damage to kill, but the last minifig takes 5 damage? Obviously not, that would be CRaAaAaZY! The first two minifigs take any number over 4 damage to kill. They safely absorb 4 points without harm; it's the fifth point that kills them and keeps going. Whatever damage...

Re: BW 2018 Feedback

The current system is designed around the idea that armor is a roll also. You roll damage first, and then you roll armor to equal or exceed the damage. It just became confusing when minifigs' 1d6 armor was simplified to a static 4.

Just an hour or two. Once I plugged the numbers into a big calendar grid, google was able to generate the graphs automatically.

Re: The Newsfeed

Here we go everybody! 2018 is over and the results are in. I plugged them all into a spreadsheet so I could show how close the race was in the second half of the year when Duerer pulled a power move to try for a hat trick. So close! But despite his efforts, and a strong late push from Kastrenzo, nin...
