Thats a bit of an optical illusion, I noticed that too and had to double check. The head is 10mm wide and 8.5mm tall, not counting the stud or neck. I was debating droping it down to 8mm. Hold a minifig in your hand at a 45 degree angle(ish). But yeah it looks wrong, but isn't. I wish I had a Microm...

I have thought about it. I've never rigged and animated anything before, but this looks simple enough to experiment with. We'll see, it wont happen anytime soon though.

so making a full on class just for the machineguns seems a bit much. Yup thats the idea. That way the MachineGun can do as much damage as people want and bury that cost into the CP. The machine gun was made for fully automatic fire! to use it otherwise would be either extremely situationally specif...

Part of rules you are adjusting is trying to give a reason to still do single fire vs auto, so you are trying to penalize auto fire. Different types of guns can do more damage, like vehicle guns, so autofire guns should also be able to do more damage. The extra damage from a vehicle is covered in th...

Yeah I spotted those lines on the hand too, not sure what happened there. I have some non-planar polys in the arm, so I'll be giving everything another look. I just wanted to post what I had so far. The head has 24 segments and the hand only 12, should have probably done a few more, although the arm...

Thanks guys!

Its not 100% exact, I know there are still a few spots that are off a bit, even though I measured them 10 times. Its not easy to measure to fractions of a millimeter :)

Minifig 3D model

I made it in Lightwave 9.2
Its not a high rez model, just 1250 polys. So you may see some facets.

The black and green sport helms sell for $.99 to $1.25 on BrickLink. You can get other colors for half that price.
So maybe Brickarms is not too bad, although the color wont match.

The torso sells for around $.14

Is there an official name or part number for those torsos and helmets?
Looks good, about as close as you can get I think.

Ok one more. I manually loaded all 70 objects into one object so I could adjust the surface of the cube. Previously I would have needed to adjust all 70 one at a time to make one surface change, yuk. So I set trans up to 90% and diffuse down to 25% Was T 70, D 100. http://home.comcast.net/~davidabur...

This is just a screen shot of Lightwave, not a render.
