Re: Undertale.

I'm still laughing at the idea of a great visual novel If anything qualifies, it's Stien;s Gate. If it isn't great, then it is on the threshold between good and great, at the very least. It's wavering right there between good and great at 7.5/10 Unless you mean Great with a capital G. In that case....

Re: Undertale.

Undertale would have been a great visual novel with scripted battles a la Monster Girl Quest series. Too bah Western developers don't know what make rpgs fun. No gameplay. got it. GOTY 2016. I'm teasing of course. I think there's room for ONE western Final Fantasy rpg-themed/parody visual novel. Ma...

Re: Fix user control pannel

I'm pretty sure Piltogg's bodyguards had excellent taste in firearms. http://www.rockislandauction.com/photos/55/p_standard/MIT402-Z-F2-H.jpg Piltogg himself did not. http://www.germaniainternational.com/images/image13.jpg Who carries a fucking .22 revolver for self defense? Even in 1944 when people...

Re: Undertale.

I'd say it's more extreme in taking the idea to its conclusion, and screws around less with its themes. If that's your definition of better, OK.

Re: Star Wars VII [SHHH they're not supposed to Know that]

Trying to turn Star Wars into great cinema would destroy everything that makes Star Wars great. I think you must have missed the link at the end of my post . No, I think one of J.J. Abrams' greatest advantages is that he's got plenty of nerd credibility, Bro, I think you are underestimating just wh...

Re: Star Wars VII [SHHH they're not supposed to Know that]

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CWw7sLvUwAADiDD.jpg The rest of it's fine. It's just the force use that bothers me. They could have fixed it with like 2 minutes of extra background on Jakku. Even throwaway lines like "I used to hit swamp rats back at home" are O.K. Similarily Han Solo is old enough (to...

Re: Star Wars VII [SHHH they're not supposed to Know that]

you could always argue that Kylo was weakened after taking a bowcaster bolt to the chest and dueling Finn Not really an argument considering throughout the film they show how powerful the Boecaster is, and they also show him bleeding. Another broken rule! Han shouldn't have been able to shoot the b...

Re: Star Wars VII [SHHH they're not supposed to Know that]

However they wouldn't be able to consciously channel the Force without the proper training in either the Light or Dark sides of the Force. I'm assuming this is what Keldo means by "using the Force without training". Yeah man, she straight up just started doing jedi mind tricks while in captivity on...

That's an interesting point, isn't it? They are basically the same game, huh. LISA just takes the idea further.

Re: Star Wars VII [SHHH they're not supposed to Know that]

@ Star Wars: A recent topic that got brought up online is that Rey might be considered a "Mary Sue" character because she's "implausibly good" at lots of things in the movie and shows herself to be incredibly competent. Critics of this viewpoint, and the concept of a "Mary Sue" in general say that ...

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I know why they did it, and it's a completely reasonable thing for them to do. I just want to have my mind blown, and am not attached enough to the series to watch 6/10s.
