Sure, but the cost of energy shields is power, and it only protects against one die per power. This would be more of a passive defense that costs a unit it's movement instead.

Re: Fire for Effect

I've always felt that indirect fire was overpowered. Not to mention cowardly. You should look a fig in the eye when you put him down. Next youll tell me sniping is a cowardly act.... i don't want to hear it michael bay lol. Artillery is viable for historic anti vehicle rolls. And was the dominating...

Why stop there? A weapon's physical size isn't a concrete limitation on its stats. You could stat a 2" weapon as an 8" one if you wanted to. But its power requirement and use rating scale up to match.

Re: Redshirting

Ah, got it. So Squad the Hero up w/ a designated meatshield in Heavy Armor, w/ a heavy shield, personal energy shield, & riding a horse w/ Heavy barding for good measure. But then the bodyguard survives. And we can't have that. It's more in the spirit of the game to have a huge entourage of expenda...

I wish they'd do more Pixar/Disney lines. I'd kill for some Monsters Inc. stuff.
