Re: December 3 Brikwar @ Philly: Newbie War

Very nice report! However it says here that this took place in Philly (I'm from Media in Delaware County) but your location says "Armpit of America" which must be New Jersey... So which one is it?

Re: Another Update

Loving the Katana-class and the as-yet-unnamed fighter at the bottom. I've never been able to make a fighter that I thought looked good so :guinness:

Here are some preliminary pictures, maybe the same ones from the above Youtube post but I wouldn't know; can't get on Youtube in China :(

Re: Battle of Beigetown

Yup, Centax-2. The strange thing isn't how he did it but the numbers still being lower than just US troops in WW2. How are we supposed to believe that the entire clone army was some 3 million and then maybe 6 million or so troopers throughout the whole conflict? This is the same author who had a his...

Re: Battle of Beigetown

Several of Karen Traviss' works have stirred considerable controversy, namely, the "3 Million Clones" debate. Books by her give the Grand Army of the Republic's numbers at 3 million clones; this was seen as both impossibly low to protect the Republics membership of just under 1.3 million planets (m...

Re: 2012 sets

Has anyone got any Dino sets yet? The Dino fighter... science... people? Whatever the minifigs are supposed to be doing with the dinosaurs look pretty cool. And of course I want a bunch of raptors and T-Rex.

Re: one ring to rule them all

That Lego is going to be stylizing Middle Earth is great news but I want to see some prototypes or final sets before I get too excited. Toy Fair NY should be good this year. This. I'm worried the sets won't be big enough. How can they make Helms Deep or Minas Tirith without 1000s if not 10000s or m...

Re: Battle of Beigetown

Eh, it's probably because the Space Skeletons are cheaper then Minifigs, thus CIS sets can be minimal but still have "More figures". Personally, since my 7929 The Battle of Naboo set has the second largest amount of Minifigs and Battle Droids are THE most numerous figure I have ( even in spite all ...

Re: Battle of Beigetown

Thanks Insert_blank. I too am a fan (although I guess everyone knows that on here). But yeah, I probably should have thrown in the MTT or a battle droid carrier (or both). Perhaps then the CIS could have had a better chance. I also agree with you in saying that I think they should make more sets of...

Re: Battle of Beigetown

As previously said, I liked the story and the narration style. This is Lego's fault but it'd be nice to see some big CIS ships and tanks instead of giving the Republic all the heavy firepower. I would have loved to see the MTT or even the more recent Battle Droid Carrier ship deploying 10 droids at ...

Re: Introduce yourself!

Welcome, [ERROR: REQUIRED FIELD BLANK]! Use caution when you look for decent Ripoff Lego overseas. Reasonably Clever covered a good portion of the really, really bad market in their Toybox of FAIL series. But, y'know, whatever it takes to have a war. In any case, a year of lurking means you most li...

Re: Introduce yourself!

Hello! I've been lurking on here for over a year and I figured it's time that I finally joined up. I've been collecting Legos for about 3 years now but right now I'm living in China so I have no access to my collection back in the States. I'm an English as a second language teacher and my hobbies ar...
