I do too. I mean, I like the idea of including the date, since it's an annual thing, but this particular badge looks better without it. Not really sure where else I'd shove the date. Sorry I couldn't work on anymore. I got super sick and I wanted to at least get my entry in this year.

You don't want the title/year and name in the top line, thats too much.
So you need to make the badge taller:
top: Title/year
line 2: Name
Icons
Bottom: Sub Title

or put the name just above the sub title
