That's more a kickstarter kind of goal. Patreon is about keeping the operation running rather than aiming for discrete goals. That being said, now that I'm not bound by a Lego non-complete clause, I'm finally designing the upcoming edition for a print run, and if there's a kickstarter it'll be for all the kinds of things I can't do myself as part of the day-to-day: book layout, publishing, distro, etc.

Obviously. We already got photos of IVhorseman and me licking toilet bowls for pledges of a mere $10, for people who remember that far back, so the precedent is set.
Still waiting for that $10, by the way.

6. I get 1/3 up front
7. after they approve the design I get 1/3
8. at the end I put paper plans in one hand while wrestling for the check with the other hand.
See! That's what I should have done with the toilet thing. Live and learn

Request approved! If you pledge at the $100 level, you are allowed to travel out to visit me and I will punch you in the nuts.

They deleted it in less than 1 hour, so efficient.
Nice to know I'm still a banned subject there

That's some good low-hanging fruit, I just need to think of the funniest way to execute it.

Right now I'm planning on using the patreon posts for behind-the-scenes dev notes and such. There's always going to be new material and ideas in the pipeline, unless I die or something.
Maraxous wrote:You mean the early access to the 2010 book

2010 book is pretty finalized at this point; I don't foresee any substantive updates to 2010. The 2018 edition is the new hotness.
