The whole point of the RCO was to have something where the new guys could develop without constantly being flamed by those guys who have been around for longer than them and consider themselves better, to the point of which their motto is apparently new people must die.

That experiment has apparently failed, since even though I could stick this out until you all get bored with it, I simply do not want to.

To be honest if you think that the new person experience is "constant flaming" on this board then you need to open your eyes. It's only people like you who argue back who get targetted. Just look at dinoboy, he's no great spriter by any account but nobody has been that harsh to him at all. People keep offering him advice despite his constant refusal to show any sign of improvement because he's smart enough not to insult all of them.
The only reason everyone got on your back was because you called them all elitists.
What do you expect people to do when you insult them? Sit there and take it?
Because you posted it all in a hidden forum I really have no idea what went on, but I think I can guess pretty easily from what I've heard from chocobo. I'll find out for sure soon when I delete the RCO board and dump everything in the hidden trash forum.
You've been calling people out and arguing with them, when there is actually very little new member hate left on this board. I stamped most of it out myself, and the community itself has matured and got over it. I ban the people that haven't.
Also what kind of rubbish experiment doesn't have a control group or any measurable outcome? Not really the scientific method! I think this whole "experiment" idea is just so you can grab the moral high ground before dissolving into your ranting and insult hurling with a clean conscience.

From this situation and the times I talked with him, what I have to say is that Ross is a fine person, if he overreacted he probably had a good reason to.

Im no forum pro, I haven't been around that long. But one thing I know for sure is that if you are more experienced at something then someone else, you shouldn't be a cocky idiot that considers newbies to be below your level. You should help, give advice and be patient, because we were all newbies once! Its normal that someone new (ex: Ross_Varn) feels frustrated when instead of doing the right thing, people are only pointing out the fact the his stuff sucks cause he's a noob...

I think you shouldn't worry about us turning against PW, the objective of forums isint to flame each others asses, but to share a common interest and have fun. And sometimes, people forget that that's the most important...

Ross Varn has put himself forward as an unreasonable member who thought having a mindset than you're better than everyone else and trying to victimise yourself was a good idea to being successful in PW.

Ross Varn really needs to wise up. Getting upset about things so easily and trying to act so self righteous really pissed a lot of people off, so we showed you in the best way we could, making you an example.

Oremawesome is incredible talentless and obnoxious in the way he deals with people. As much as you try to be nice there's no hope for someone with his kind of attitude.

"Silvadream" we appreciate your attempts of trolling us but you haven't got very far and we're only annoyed by genuine assholes, like Ross.

As far as I'm concerned, Brikwars members can continue playing PW in the Brikwars forums...you haven't given yourselves a great reputation (Thanks to Ross, especially.)

Of course there are exception, aoffen for one has proved to be a decent guy, but otherwise...

Ahaha wow. I'm sorry BFenix, I respect you, but that is so far from the truth.

I don't know if you've even gone on the PW forums and looked at what Ross is talking about, you'd realise he's being an absolute douche about nothing. All the "shit" people are apparently giving him consists of this:

-2 people saying his sprites were too tall.
-Some people from another team in a campaign-type thing that hasn't even started coming into our team's forum that had a pretty lame password and saying stuff like "hello", until Ross started freaking out and being like "YOU GUYS ARE DICKS" and then one said "there's like nothing here" and another quoting a line in the intro post in said subforum about superior spriting skill and saying that most of them sucked, which isn't extremely far from the truth either.
-People calling him a douche cause he's being an overreacting douche.

If you read the topics, you'd know everyone was being pretty civilized until he had some little hissy fit. After that, people were just calling him out on his hissy fit, and then he got all "Wahhh".

Seriously Ross, grow a pair and start acting your age.
