NES Classic War Stories

Post by Half-Moon Molly » Fri Nov 18, 2016 10:39 pm

Well, I just got the NES Classic, and it's really cool. To get it, my stepfather had to stay on a Website til 12:45 before he could order it. Anyone else get it? Thoughts? Stories? I dunno, pics of a Stegosaurus' butt?
yeah, I'm trans.

My story is that I still have my original full size NES.

i prefer the snes to the original nes because the original nes doesn't have super mario world on it, also my snes is really yellow from sun and smoke damage
about now is the time keldoclock comes in to tell me about how much of an expert he is on snes related things and how to clean them, so if he could do this thing right about now that would be great

SNES is better tbh. Megaman X, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, Kirby, Donkey Kong Country, etc.

I definitely see the appeal of the Mini NES, for it's a nice to have novelty item and in my area it would be much easier to grab that one instead of hunting down original NES carts.
However, I wonder if getting a Raspberry Pi instead and stuffing that one with ROMs and emulators for all sorts of systems wouldn't be better from a utility POV.

That does offer an appealing option, and there are multiple guides online .

Don't forget FF6/3 the best in the series.
