Re: Europa Universalis IV
So I found Steam didn't uninstall the game files from my computer (I'm guessing they can't use software to delete games from my computer because Rome II is still there, too), and thus I could still play EUIV, but I can't do cool Steam stuff like play on multiplayer or take screenshots.
But what I did do is boot up the save file I made of tutorial Castille and suddenly it went from being the tutorial to actual game, so here's a simple list of some stuff I did in this game:
+ New World +
•Fucked up a lot of native peoples.
•Formed New Granada (also during the tutorial) by colonization and obliterating a one province coastal native nation. I managed to convert them.
•Formed the colonial nation of Spanish Scratchia when the game went srs mode from my extremely spread colonies across the eastern sea boards (I picked spots by aggressiveness and ferociousness because I didn't have troops there).
•Formed New Spain (not with my permission b/c tutorial mode) and thus half the Yucatan remained Pagan because of the Cocome nation there, which I conquered. It was like 3 provinces. Then, New Spain had like 10 or so hardcore pagan rebel regiments rise up and conquered half the country (I had even conquered more pagan factions in other parts of Mexico and they also revolted). The Cocomes got away clean with like 7 provinces. Then the Protestants showed up, and the Cocomes was constantly seeing pagan, peasant, and protestant revolts until my minions and I conquered them again because New Spain wanted their land back.
•Colonized much of southern Mexico. Then lost it to New Spain. Then they lost it to Pagan revolters because New Spain formed while I was converting the Pagans.
•Colonized the Bahamas, formed Spanish West Indies. Easily the strongest Spanish colonial nation because their provinces are united in Catholicism.
•Grew fabulously wealthy from my colonies. At one point I had 10k+ for money. I spent it on buildings in the old world and armies to keep fighting my cold war with France.
+ Old World +
•Became the Defender of the Catholic Faith.
•Fought a fucking huge war in Central Europe over England invading Scotland and beating their ass HARD. The combatants were thusly: English Web of Allies: England, Portugal, Spain, Spanish West Indies, New Spain, New Granada (my colonial nations that the tutorial game took the liberty of founding for me so they have trouble with Pagans rising up in revolt and then the Protestants showed up) vs. Scottish Coalition: Scotland (reduced to one province after the war), my nemesis France (prior to now I conquered half of France and like 2 or 3 of France's vassals. Worth it.), and Austria. France lost HARD but didn't lose any land because England negotiated peace with Scotland, so I lost my chance to eliminate France (There were English, Spanish, and Protugeese armies running around trashing shit) so they became a major threat again.
•Invaded one of the Italian kingdoms and seized it. I smoothed it over with the other Italians, so no big. I even got in good with Naples and the Papal State(s). Venice is still neutral.
•Built a lot of buildings in mainland Spain (when I say this I mean the Spain that can formed in game + conquered France. I made sure to genocide the various French cultures, but couldn't nail all of them b/c my Diplomatic Power was constantly being eaten by war and buildings) and grew very rich from them

Re: Europa Universalis IV
I found these on my Steam! These are pics from the tutorial era.
http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.c ... 248D71D97/
New Spain before New Spain. The Cocomes are the green guys.
http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.c ... 73E80F358/
A curious phenomenon I've observed in the tutorial is that the entire world freezes. This lasted for the entire duration of the tutorial. Later, I had to fight these motherfuckers. I swear, France grows troops like fucking corn.
Ninja EDIT:
pics too big

Re: Europa Universalis IV
Some more stuff I did in Spain file:
•Tried to invade Japan. In this game, Japan didn't unite the entire province. Instead, Japan united southern Japan (Kyushu, Shikoku, southern half of Honshu) and Takeda got the rest (except Hokkaido. The Ainu were still independent for some reason), and the Hosokawas were reduced to one province (Awa). Since they weren't allied to either Japans, I invaded easily (I had to load one time because Japan just knocked out my Brigs). Then I invaded Japan with 16 regiments from Awa. While Japan was growing troops in the ricefields for me to kill with my Tercios (I had to bring in 17 more regiments of Tercios), Korea decided to fuck things up good and proper and invaded and took all of Shikoku. The Yerens also landed a bunch of assholes that the Japanese Union was able to destroy easily. I did defeat Japan and get some land out of them and converted the population (of those provinces) but because Japan is on the other side of the world from Japan (and you can't sail from Japan to America because of the map), so peasants and Shinto zealots rose up and I got the fuck out of there. RIP Spanish Japan.
•More colonization in South America resulted in Spanish Mocia. Currently, they're a coastal nation in modern day Brazil.
•Colonization in Louisiana resulted in Spanish Emeria.
•Met the Inca. Fucked them up. Too much land to completely annex. Spanish Silvaria formed out of the like eight or nine provinces I DID manage to ring out of them. Half of those rebelled with the decade and an entirely new native nation formed (I couldn't deal with them in time because I was distracted with my ill-fated venture in Japan). New Spain also got a bit of land from the Central American tribes but by now most of my Casus Bellis against them have expired (even my colonial expansion and holy war ones).

Re: Europa Universalis IV

So, the reason, I've been putting up this BW Europe map, was to make it into a playable map for EU IV with all the different factions and stuff. I started to work with the actual Province Map, in order to better visualize the in-game borders. If any important nation is missing here or if you got any suggestions, regarding in-game national abilities, please let me know.

I thought this was what the map was for. If you get it to work that will be pretty awesome.

Alright, how much dick do I have to suck to get Castille?
EDIT:
Also, Roussillon belongs to Aragon at the start of the game.

Re: Europa Universalis IV
Where would you like to be put in? Europe still has Croatia, Bosnia and Albania available. I could also hand you some colonies or a location outside of Europe, if you wish.Zupponn wrote:ZMC plz.

Re: Europa Universalis IV
Since the ZMC mainly just controls groups of asteroids in the Brikverse, I think it would be fitting to have them control some islands.Duerer wrote:Where would you like to be put in? Re: Europa Universalis IV
The ZMC is a mining / trading company that controls vast amounts of asteroid belts (bought, on contract, or "finder's keepers), and even entire planets. I think the Canaries, some colonies in Africa, Iceland, the Shetlands, and any islands around England I missed that belonged to the Vikings (b/c Vikings = Metal).
