we're talking about Super Smash Brothers: Brawl, the game that got sold out in stores and is sweeping north america and japan. something tells me europe won't be hit quite so hard. also, yes. mario is a legitimate choice.

speaking of, anyone else think mario moves and handles differently in this version? i suddenly seem to actually LIKE using mario now.

basically, every interwebs forum is legally required to do a thread about brawl, much like we would have had to about portal and our good friend the Weighted Companion Cube (<3) if this forum was a few months older.

the calling characters thing is just us commenting on how every session of "hang out with your friends and play brawl/whine about who got mr. game and watch" ends up going, as well as stating our favorite characters.

actually, most of you guys probably have. i don't actually own brawl perse as much as have friends who own brawl. so i haven't seen anyone unlocked past luigi.

I have the full roster. R.O.B. is probably the best aerial character, I use him every now and again. Tell your friends to do subspace emissary. It unlocks everyone but wolf, toonlink, and jigglypuff, which are got by finding secret doors in SE, I feel boneriffic for missing toonlink's when I first did that level.

When I went into Futureshop, there was a massive rack with enough copies for my entire community. Perhaps that was just an anomaly, though.
