fine. what level should we start at? not one, because higher levels allow monster player characters.

like I said, three is what I would do, it allows for a multiclass start, and still keeps much of the customization available to suit the scenarios. plus there's a lot less you have to do to whip up a lvl3 char. than a lvl5 one

I haven't played 3.5, but I've played pathfinder and I'll be DMing a pathfinder campaign some time soon. Pathfinder, as I hear it, is basically a slightly re-worked version of 3.5.

Do you think I'd have a hard time to playing in your campaign? I'd sure like to.

Why the hell did we drop from 5 to 3?

Oh. Pansies did it. I see.

Hey, Ender... you can still multiclass at fifth level! ISN'T THAT AMAZING? And on top of it all, fifth level is not that much more work than third! As long as you're sitting to down to make a character, you may as well make one that's less likely to die a horrible death.

And now I have to do more work regressing my character two levels.

::sigh:: I'm being bitchy, sorry. It just seems totally pointless.

6. yes, I know you can still multiclass at 5th. it's easier to start a multiclass at third though, as you only have to update one, and just take one of each
7. as long as scottsamn is an ok DM, we won't really have a problem with dying unless we're all really stupid.
8. not all of us are as 'on the ball' as you are... I doubt any of us have even thought about making a character yet :P (although I do apologize for your hassle)

also, if everyone else truly desires it, I'll play at whatever level we start at, I just like advancing, and when you start too high, then it isn't as fun and there aren't as many advancements to look forward to.

No, not really.

I guess I see what you're saying. Sorry, it was merely an annoyance.

alright, seeing as I already have experience playing one, and I like the class, I'm going to be a hexblade (complete warrior)

scottsamn, tell me soon if I can't, and have to use the core classes....

EDIT: screw that, I'll just be a paladin (though, take it easy, I really don't like spells :? )
