I think those should be okay....

Backstory: Was born on Coruscant, but moved to a mid-rim colony, and trained in a military academy after he was orphaned by a sith attack on his planet. He trained as a republic soldier, but eventually left to pursue work as a mercenary.

Rather boring, but whatevs. I'm trying to do this right before school starts.... :roll:

I feel really bad about this, but I don't think I can run a six-person campagin, Ben. I don't think I was really clear about it, but I've already approved five characters. You're in for the next round. Sorry.

To clarify Force Points, you can use them to add 1d6 to a roll of your choosing. You can also use them to cheat death, avoiding the results of a bad roll when someone attempts to deliver a coup'de'grace.

Combat works in the following way- the party and enemies roll Initative when an attack is made. The order, from highest to lowest, is the order in which the party acts. However, posts do not have to be done in that order.

When an attack is made, the attacker rolls 1d20 and adds his relative bonuses. He then compares the number to the enemy's Reflex Defense. If he beats the defense, he rolls damage. If the damage is over the enemy's Fortitude Defense, the enemy is severely wounded and takes subsequent penalty to all rolls.
Killing an enemy involves either overcoming his Foritude defense five times or dropping his hit points to zero. Both of these drop the enemy unconscious or dead.
Once a day, you can use Second Wind to recover half of your current hp, provided that you are below half.

The cruiser is an old freight ship, named the Lomhead, under charter with the Republic. Although not the luxury choice, it's a cheap method of transport to the capital of the Republic, and under Republic protection as well.

The ship is armed with a few ion cannons for pirate deterrent. It's barebones crew is made up of inexperienced crewmembers and a grizzled old captain. The passengers for the journey are assigned cabins and kept in the ship's main lounge, outside of reach from the crew quarters and bridge. The weapons- that the crew finds- are locked up in the forward armory. There's a hold full of goods, bound for high-end establishments on Coruscant.

You look up as the thumping noise continues. In the lounge, there's no viewscreens for the outside. The thumping grows louder and becomes irregular, as the deckplates under your feet start to shake. Something is seriously wrong.

Gal and Dundaree still has their weapons, having smuggled them in past the guards. The guards are satisfied by Alec and Dessh being Jedi to let them take their lightsabers aboard. Gozack, being crew, isn't allowed weapons on board, but he has his blaster and baton concealed in his clothing anyway. So you're all fully armed.

Get started by posting where you are on the ship, what you are doing, and how you react to the sound. Any questions?

I am in my quarters, meditating. the shakes raise me from my trance and I gather my belongings and head out into the hallway. I am trying to locate the sound, and head off in that direction, preparing for a fight.

Out of Char: do we know each other? or are we supposed to find each other.

You all are just traveling strangers, on your way to Coruscant for various reasons. Some of you may have talked to each other on the trip, or are actually traveling together, but you'll be forced together by the end of this ride.

I am in the main lounge and doing some conversation with whoever may be there. When the thumping starts to get louder, I ask the next best person, preferably a crew member: "Hey, that noise isn't normal, is it? What's going on?" If there is nobody there I try to use the next intercom to contact the bridge and ask the captain directly.

Since I wouldn't take the risk, my weapon is still hidden in my chamber.

Gozrac will rush from his crew quarters and make a beeline for the engine room, fearing that it's the source of the noise.

I am in my quarters with the door locked and music playing while I clean my gun. I hear the thumping noise and conceal my weapon. I head into the hallway and look for a good spot to hole up in case of attack.

Dessh comes out in the main lounge, looking around for the source of the disturbance. The sounds are coming from the port side of the ship. Most of the passengers in the lounge are looking around, rather confused. One of them, Gal, is speaking into a comlink. The other crewmembers have disappeared.

Gal attempts to raise the bridge, getting on the com with the Lomhead's solitary officer. He looks rather harried, and glances over his shoulder towards the captain before saying, "I'm sorry, miss, but I can't tell you that right now. Give us a moment." He cuts off the transmission.

Dessh tries the lounge doors leading to port. They're locked.

Gozrak emerges from his cabin into the forward crew lounge. About half of the crew is gathered, trying to figure out what's going on. He glances around, confused, and starts toward the engine compartment as the captain comes onto the overhead 'link. "Crew, we are under attack from a pirate cruiser. Please stay calm. All hands, battle stations." His grim tone cuts off as the link drops. The crew responds, delayed, with slight panic, as they rush to their respective stations. "Gozrak!" someone shouts. "Get to the shield array! They're hammering us!" Gozrak is already gone, hightailing it to the engines.

The passengers in the lounge look at each other as the captain speaks. Some immediately get up to demand their weapons from a crewmember that slips into the lounge. Others disappear into their cabins. Dundaree appears and takes stock of the situation, marking out the lounge. In one corner is an open bar, fully stocked, with a rather dazed looking Sullustian barkeep who appears to be pouring himself a glass of Glas'Ale. Doors lead to the forward hold, both port and starboard, and the rear cargo hold. A woman brushes past him, looking fearfully around as she vanishes into her cabin.

Alec, sitting in the lounge, is attempting to concentrate, eyes closed, to figure out what happened. [9] He opens his eyes, frustrated. All the commotion around him blocks out whatever is happening.

The deck continues to shiver under Gozrak's feet as he skids into Engineering. The older Human on duty, Gozrak's only companion in the engine bay, looks up as he enters. "'Bout time you got here. That cruiser started hammering the shields as soon as we jumped in-system. Either the shield generator's going to blow," he says, indicating a complex spider-shaped box on the wall with his spanner, "or the engines give out. I was trying to fix Port Seventeen on the third cylinder when we got hit, blasted thing almost smoked my hand." He chucks the spanner back into the toolkit, obviously frustrated, then turns to Gozrak. "Well, you just gonna stand there while Captain Lomhead attempts to talk the pirates out of this?" he asks sarcastically. A high-pitched whine joins the noise in the bay, as the cylinder he was talking about vents steam from the engine cooling array. He mutters a curse and turns back to it, fishing another smaller spanner out of his pants.

I head up to the bartender. In a raspy but firm voice I say " I 'ecmend ge'ing tha' stuff" I motion to the alchohol" some're els an 'edying for a boardin' p'rty. 's p'ace'll make good c'ver. 'ny one els 'ight enough to smuggle your g'ns 'n?"
