Runescape

i have a giant carrot from this years Astarte event.
i only go on for events,
my accounts combat lvl 60.
i have a cult and a dog in suspened animation untill i get membership again, and i have no idea what happens to houses, i still have my armour amoung the things i kept, and quite a bit of money, some snow balls, all my event stuff is in the hands of that guy who gives you it back if you loss it.

EDIT: the rune scimitar looks bad-ass now, it looks like you could do some serious gut removal!

Heh, I have a cult in suspended animation. It used to be my favorite item.

And I still have Excalibur...which is my favorite item ever.

Haha, yeah, the scimitar does look beastly, but I still like the enormous proportions of my two-hander. I still recall the way they used to look back in RS1...

...Yeah, I played it back when it was pretty much 2D. I'm old-school.

Once you try WoW you realize how much runescape sucks but untill then it's ok.

i played wow on free, but it's too good for your own good, it sucks you in and doesn't let go.

in that sword quest (with the blue metal stuff) you can get two swords if you get double the meterials and then you can keep one after the quest, its a nice sword to have as decoration.
i don't like the 1h, the long sword is good for damage and you can have a shild, but scimitar looks real nice.

Runescape is like a disease. It quickly wears off.
But if you're a member it lasts longer.

I have an account, I remember how long it took to get that weild obsidian cape, and the flared trousers, the community is the most annoying, thinking back I used to defend it like hell, but now I laugh at its sorry arse.
I remember that member servers had less idiots on, but you had to pay.
Same here.

But, hey, we could totally get our own little private club of Brikwars players going there. It even has a turn-based strategy game built in now (I read the recent announcements), and it would be a good way to spread the word about Brikwars.

That, and it's free, so nobody has to pay to play with their fellow Brikwarsians. We can all just log in and pwn n00bz together, even the ones with low-end computers.

if i knew you guys wou;ld just trash the 2nd best game, i wouldnt have revived this

WOW is good until you realize it costs 300 dollars for like a year if you get the expansions.

WoW isn't worth the money you pay for it.

I'm just so sick and tired of conventional MMO's that Rune Scape is like a breath of fresh air to me. I actually started playing again the other day, doing some fishing. Lulz. It was actually pretty fun to sit there and chat with people about what all was going on in the game.

i find the feeling of being a rebel against the people who go "tat gam suks play WoW itz mor fun sice it haz betre gaptics" even though content wise there about the same its just runescapes more open ended, you can be a wizard who when hes out of magic can just pull out his armour and weapons and slash them to death!
in WOW once your out of magic you have to run away and cry in a corner untill you can fight again.

I still get on Runescape now and then if I'm really bored.

It's better than most other MMORPGs because it has plenty of different things in it, both in the environment and what you can actually do with your character. In WoW you can go mine, sure, but WoW doesn't have any variety compared to Runescape. You also can't beat free.
