I have beta access. So do Whiteagle, 501st, Tzan, and possibly a few others that I left out. The question is which of us are currently playing, and on that note it seems like some of us are taking breaks from it at the moment or something.
I know a lot of brikwarriors also play mount and blade warband/napoleonic wars. I've never done the multiplayer myself so someone else will have to vouch for that.
Then there's Killing Floor, which is good fun.
Then there's other stuff.
You might want to narrow down the terms of your search.

I've got a teamspeak. A fair number of brikwarriors float around from time to time, and if i ever need to expand it, i can. I can post the IP publicly and you can join.


Planetside 2 would be nice because it's , but there's also stuff like Guns of Icarus Online and Lord of the Rings Online.

You know, say what you will about Runescape, but Jagex was actually fairly innovative as far as MMO's are concerned. Runescape never felt stupid and lame and grindy like WOW ends up feeling, or like any number of other MMO's. I've played such a ridiculous amount of MMO's over the years, and still, nothing compares to that magic that Runescape held for me as a child.

Now, of course, they're changing the combat so it's hotkey based(as if it were really that far from it in the first place), and has some stupid combo system I care nothing about.
There is the fact that the community has always been shit, but any free game is going to have a fricking terrible community anyway. I could make a broad statement about poorfags, but I'll be nice and say that subscription-based MMOs promote more loyalty and encourage you to get more out of your time spent in them, as opposed to freemium games that try to trick you into thinking you can get along happily not spending any money. This of course means you make absolutely no commitment to the game, and people who don't give a shit about the game they're playing aren't going to form a pleasant community.

Mount and Blade sounds nice.

Why not TF2? It'd be awesome to try Wave 666 with a bunch of Brikwarriors.

Okay, so, narrowing it down. Let's say a shooter but not Halo or TF2. Modern or future is fine. I guess the point is I'll play a new game I just don't want to play alone. Mechwarrior sounds like its okay too.
