For those who don't know, FTL is an awesome game where you take control of a spaceship. You get to upgrade and customize your ship and make snap decisions.

Last game I finally got to the last sector and had every inch of my ship destroyed by the flagship.

Meh, not really my thing, I bought it but it just wasn't for me. However, my buddy's doing a let's play with the Torus.

Looks like a map from the Star Wars RPG.

It's quite fun.

I've beaten it several times now. Very addicting.

Red-tail and Mantis ship B are the best. I keep trying stealth ship B out (because it comes with a fuggen GLAIVE BEAM) but always take waaaaay too much damage before I can get shields.

Obviously the Kestrel is the best.

Well yeah.

I love the Engi cruiser personally, once you load it up with Pegasus missiles and Drones. I finally beat the first stage boss with it.

Also, for some reason if my ship's name starts with Gal it's more likely to do good. For example, Gal Pal, Gallahad, Gallipoly, and most recently the Gallant.

Engi A is my personal favorite, having the medi-bot dispersal is amazing.

I can never get either of the Engi ships too far. I got A all the way up to the second form of the boss, but it's HARD to get the drones you need. Gotta love them defense drones though.

Dual ion cannons is so good it feels like cheating

Using Mantis B or Crystal B is so easy it almost feels like cheating with those 4 ppl teleporters...

I have beaten the game on normal difficulty with all ships except Engi B and Slug A+B, which i haven't unlocked yet. Had a lot of fun on the way.

I still prefer Ion Blast II. Autofire on the shields and proceed to quickly forgetting about it!

I haven't played in a couple months, but the game is so awesome I am naming my SHIP's main cannon the Glaive Beam.

Red-Tail is the best one that I've unlocked, and has my top 3 best scores.

Unlocked Zoltan B today, it's pretty solid, since it starts out with two ion blast 1's and a pike beam.
