I've never played Alpha Centauri, but have heard a lot about, but Civ I have played quite bit of, so this makes me pretty excited.

Edit: Reddit's opinion on this is pretty solid:

Some guy synced the trailer up with the Final Countdown, it works really well.

It was one of, if not the best civ style 4x game ever made. Years before its time.

It has been a bane in my life since it was released.

Morgan 4 lyfe, yo.

In your country were set some of the greatest animes and games ever (very few games though, like Shogun 2). Can you rebuild your respect among other nation's game industries? Can you build a company that will last for 30 more years?"

When Nintendo dies, I will shed a single tear, as of all the cancers killing gaming, Nintendo was the only cancer capable of mutating and killing off the other tumours growing on gamings massive prostate.

Japan has several companies that are over a hundred years old. Before Kongō Gumi was acquired, it was over 1400 years old.

Here's a full list.

Juicy details.

What I'm seeing, I'm liking. I haven't played as much Civ as many of you here, but hot damn, these changes look good.
