I see some people are into 40K. I don't know how many are aware of the Epic 6mm scale...

Only learning how to paint in Epic. Others with more experience/talent are much better. This is the best I have so far...

Elixir, Exalted Slaanesh Greater Daemon... ok, so she's a 40K Daemonette but the model is just amazing.

Meh. In Warhammer you have to choose a pre-made army. In BrikWars, YOU make the army.

Awesome painting job!
Admittedly, I have yet to paint any of my Warhammer guys, and I'm afraid I'll probably do a horrendous job when I finally get around do it.

Cheers

I never bothered painting stuff much until eight months ago then I joined a Forum for Epic and they pretty much showed me how to do the stuff you see above. I think there is one for 40K and Warhammer... "Warseer" I think it's called. Never used it as I have never played anything but Epic and run/ran loads of RPG. (Harnmaster, Cathulu, Cyberpunk... Cyberpunk only now... 19 year campaign with horror genre added.) Now BrikWars.

Good ol' Games Workshop messing with the players as usual. I know what you mean but feel sad no longer for Epic's back... sort of. It's called Epic Armageddon. Or there's the fan based NetEpic... my game of choice... it's sort of like the old Epic but with extra stuff and most of the old crap rules that didn't work are now cut out. They can all be found here...

...if you're interested that is. Obviously only as an aside to the mighty BrickWars.

For a second I thought that that demon dude had a guitar. Any game that would let you field something like that would be 300% badass.

LOL

The Greater Daemon Stevie Vi! :) I never noticed that before... I always thought the position of the hand was a bit... unsettling though.

Yup, got them in Epic and 40K. They are still popular in Epic but sadly written out by Games Workshop in 40K. Here's a reminder of the old stuff...

One of my mates gave me this stuff when he left to stay in America. I guess he just didn't want to carry 'em.

squats = futuristic dwarfs? what their real names?
I have a 3000pt list of the regular fantasy dwarfs (mostly unpainted mind you)

yup, futuristic dwarfs. GW discontinued them because they 'were a bit of a joke race' but really it was because they didn't want 40k to turn into WFB in space...which it did.

i was tempted to start lord of the rings warhammer - twice
both times i decided to not do it - £££ for 5 unpainted figurines - even the paint you have to buy separately - £££ on warhammer = £££ not spent on lego = D: = no BlockTales = you get what i mean

good thing i found brikwars - warhammer with lego - plus it makes a good play toy
