Anyone for a RPG?

I wasn't entirely sure where to post this -- forum battles or lesser games -- but i figured that because it wasn't brikwars i would put it in lesser games.

i have recently come into possession of martin hackett's 'fantasy gaming'. in this book, he discusses a complete RPG system and i was wondering if anyone would like to go on a forum campaign with me as GM. i would PM the pc's with the situation, they would PM me their orders and i would post the results in this forum.

there are five characters to choose from and it's first come first served.

Issachar, the guy from the nobility. spellcaster. 15 years old, 6 spells, best HP, best learning, best fighting ability, best missile weapon ability, best languages ability, and has the most money. Played by Arkbrik.

Sheyde, the middle-class bailiff. 17 years old, best stealth ability. Played by Massam.

Thorpe, the falconer. 21 years old. Clumsy.

Thorik, the dwarf fisherman. best power rating, best luck rating, best piercing abilty and is very good with an axe. best craft ability, best fauna ability, best literacy, and best agility. only knows human to 50% proficiency, but pretty-boy Issachar can translate for him. Played by ahp77.

MacDuff, the boneriffic human laborer. 22 years old and the oldest in the party. Might as well be a dimmy. best flora rating. clumsy, weak, dumb. only knows human to 75% proficiency.

sign up! we'll be fighting evil undead and grabbing loot!

I would enter if the scenario was realistic.

realistic -- how so? no undead? no magic? no boneriffic laborer in an adventuring party?

I think he means he would like it better if it were a modern day or real-world situation with some fantasy or sci-fi added in. Am I correct pesgores?

I would also prefer what I just said, but I have done online D&D games and it didn't work out so well. There are just so many little things and so much dialogue if you want to make it major RPing and it just takes a long time for anything to happen.

Good luck though. I'll be sitting this one out.

still need two more people, sign up.
if this one is a success i might do a futuristic/modern RP. Maybe a mutant chronicles campaign.
if nobody picks the dimmy he's gonna fall off a cliff.

that's it. i'm getting bored.
if no one signs up for the other two in two days, they both die and the RP starts without them.

I never really understood this, why do undead carry around stuff that can be used against them? Even if its not in this RPG sometimes zombies have like extra ammo and stuff anyone care to explain?
