Just got the classic board game. It is a pretty awesome game. Anyone else have it, have tips, have other versions of it?

this is my favorite board game ever (although i love me some global domination risk-style as well).

I have it, the seafarers, cities and knights, and traders and barbarians expansions, as well as the 5-6 player expansions for seafarers and c&k.

i have a fairly large group of friends who are also in love with this game.

Yup. Blew $20 on the original. I played the expansion packs once, at a friend's house. Seafarers is the best of the two.

I saw this some weeks ago on a shelve inside some mall.

No table wargame is better than BrikWars.

Seriously, Pez, you should try it. It isn't better on the war game scale, but it is one of the best board games i have ever played.

What is it about, then? Colonies and overseas empires?

yeah me and my friends sometimes play it at warhammer nights, great fun but i don't know much about the expansions.

i got the 360 demo (boardgames on 360 who wolda thougt of that?)

i was unable to purchase it at Manly Santa Day (sold out) so instead i got carcasone wich is also cool!

didnt like the seafarered but the nights was nice
