I don't know if anyone has heard of it or played it. Well anyways it takes place in ww2 as just about every rts does. Its got fully destructible environments and a great physics engine. It's a pretty good game

Dawn of War? Starcraft? Command & Conquer? BattleForge? That Half-Life 2 RTS mod? Stormrise? Halo Wars? Quake Wars? All the Tom Clancy crap? All the X-Com crap?

I believe, sir, that a revision of your post is in order.

Birdman you fool! X-Com wasn't an RTS! It was turn based! And AWESOME. Also it's the experience I always find myself trying to duplicate in BrikWars.

I can think of plenty of WWII FPSes, and a bunch of turn based WWII strategy games, but I'm having a hard time thinking of even a single other WWII RTS. I don't think there are that many.

On the other hand I've never heard of Men of War either. Is it any good?

Wow it is actually kind of an honor to talk with the overlord.Anyway there's a demo for it somewhere,it even has a direct control mode so you can choose where to hit a tank either in the engines or the guns or the tracks There are a ton of others too like company of heroes and commandos which both have multiple titles Sudden Strike and Axis and Allies there is pretty much an endless list.

Hmm, I think most of those are real-time tactical games, but I'd forgotten about company of heroes.

I don't think WWII lends itself very well to RTS as a genre, since the centers of production for one or both sides of any conflict were usually an ocean away.

I would buy this game, but I'm saving cash for the Tide of Iron board game.

I prefer turn based strategy games and hate RTS because when I come off them I'm still frantic and trying to do everything all at once and have these manic stary eyes that feak people out and when things or people are going slow or not working I shout things like "fuckin' work! Work! WORK DAMN IT!" So I prefer TBS to RTS...

I like Panzers phase II, it was a bit getting used to as I used to play CnC, where you can build your units in stead of buy them at the start.

It's a great game. The psychics and graphics are nice,as are the play mechanics. My only qualm with it is that the voice acting is hilarious;all the russians are americans trying to sound like russians. And some germans are british(What teh lol?)
